2026 Music Academy Summer Camps
Ages: Middle and High School Students
June 22-26; 9am-11:30am
The Music Academy is excited to announce our new Woodwinds Summer Chamber Music Camp! This experience is open to middle and high school students who are eager to continue their musical journeys through the summer.
Students will be placed into groups of matching skill levels and receive daily coachings with a qualified instructor. Students will also participate in masterclasses with guest woodwind and brass artists.
The week will culminate in a final performance on Friday, June 26th at 12:00pm.
Students should come to camp able to read all of their music on the first day so that time can be spent fine tuning pieces and learning to work together as a group.
Final student showcase will be held on Friday, June 26 at 12pm
Ages 6-18+
June 15-19; 9am-1pm
Open to violin, viola, piano, cello, bass, clarinet, saxophone and flute! If you can read music, you can join us!
Students will be placed into groups of matching skill levels and receive daily coachings with a qualified instructor.
The week will additionally include: masterclasses and lessons with guest artists, a “garage orchestra,” and off-campus performance for the community.
The week will culminate in a final performance on Friday, June 19th at 12:00pm.
Ages 4 - 8
July 27-31; 9am-3pm
Music Discovery Club is a joyful introduction to the world of music designed specifically for young children. This camp invites students to discover, create, and explore through hands-on experiences with a variety of instruments and musical activities in a fun and nurturing environment.
Each day, campers will participate in group violin classes, group piano lessons, music and movement classes, and Orff lessons, where they will learn the basics of each instrument group and experience the excitement of making music themselves.
Campers will also enjoy daily, live classical music performances, giving them the opportunity to see and hear instruments up close while developing an appreciation for music. Creative activities such as musical crafts, sound exploration, and imaginative music-making encourage curiosity and allow children to express their unique ideas.
Music Discovery Club nurtures creativity, builds confidence, and sparks a lifelong love of music by allowing children to experience music through listening, playing, moving, and creating. It is the perfect first step for young musicians to discover the joy and wonder of the musical world.
