Seeing the joy in my son’s eyes when he plays makes me so happy we found The Music Academy!
Musical ability is not an inborn talent but an ability which can be developed. Any child who is properly trained can develop musical ability, just as all children develop the ability to speak their mother tongue. The potential of every child is unlimited.”The study of music teaches “sensitivity, discipline and endurance” and ultimately produces “a beautiful heart.
Music is enough for a lifetime…but a lifetime is not enough for music.
I love the Music Academy. The quality of the instruction and articulation in curriculum are outstanding. We get a lot for our investment.
Thank you for a wonderful experience at The Music Academy. I often quote you from a talk you gave to parents when we first enrolled Emma. It was a story about your son who was in vet/med school at the time, you said he called you and thanked you for encouraging him to practice his instrument regularly during his childhood. He told you he was able to study and approach solving problems from a variety of perspectives and had a different attitude about dealing with challenges than …

Heart felt thanks!
The Music Academy of Rockford has always been a great place for my children to learn an instrument. The teachers are fantastic and the activities that the children do are perfect for their self-esteem.

The Music Academy is a very important and worthwhile program in expanding the arts in this community. It’s a privilege to be able to support it any way we can.

I never guessed I’d have the chance to play chamber music! Thanks so much for including adults. I’ll never forget this experience.
